Regular University Courses (in English)
As an ISEP student, you can build your own program by choosing your courses from a variety of fields. Use the notes for course searching to help you find which courses are available.
WCU is best known for its programs in business, Appalachian studies, Cherokee studies, natural resource management, biology, chemistry, communication, theatre arts, sport management and outdoor education, music, art, education, criminal justice, construction management, computer information systems and computer science. New programs are emergency management, telecommunications technology and forensic anthropology.
HOUSING
Incoming ISEP (Exchange) students do not pay room/board when the student chooses a Judaculla double room... You will have a roommate. If a student chooses a single room, they must pay the difference. Students will receive the Unlimited meal plan option.
For ISEP Direct students: Judaculla Hall. There is a $150 housing deposit (non-refundable).
MEALS
For ISEP Exchange: The $330.63 amount is Declining Balance to be used at retail locations (Chili's, etc.). Unlimited is $2,274.00 per semester. All-you-care-to-eat block meals are valid upstairs at the Courtyard Dining Hall and Brown Hall, and these are unlimited.
Dining options and hours are limited.
For ISEP Direct: Unlimited: All-you-care-to-eat meals are valid upstairs at the Courtyard Dining Hall and Brown Hall.
Meal benefits are limited during vacation.
*Calendar Year students are not eligible for ISEP housing and meal benefits over the summer break.

Other Academic Conditions
Some graduate courses are available to qualified exchange students; however degree, Biltmore, and online programs are closed to ISEP students.
PASSPORT: All students must have a valid passport to participate in this program. If you do not have a valid passport, we suggest you start the application process as soon as possible.
VISA: All non-U.S. citizens will be required to obtain a visa. For more information on the process and estimated cost, please review the ISEP Country Handbook here.
