Summer Flexible Course Enrollment (in English, Spanish)
Tecnológico de Monterrey is located in Monterrey city, the capital of the Nuevo Leon state in northern Mexico. Monterrey is an important industrial, commercial and educational center, and enjoys some of Mexico’s highest standards of living. Overall it is an innovative, modern city, though the historic Barrio Antiguo retains some traditional charm and is filled cafes, restaurants, nightlife spots, cultural events and museums – this neighborhood is also a popular hangout for Monterrey’s many students in the evenings and on weekends. The city boasts a warm, dry climate and lies in a valley surrounded by stunning mountain ranges, with the Sierra Madre Oriental mountains recognized as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
Tecnológico de Monterrey was founded by a group of Mexican industrialists in 1943, and its ties to the business world remain strong today. Tec has 31 national campuses as well as several international satellite offices. The main campus, located in Monterrey’s city center, is open to ISEP students. Tec's goal is to produce information capable of transforming lives, and the university has been ranked as the number one private university in Mexico and one of the top six universities in Latin America by the Times Higher Education world university rankings.
This 6 week summer program allows students to earn academic credit and experience all that Tec and Monterrey have to offer, while returning to their home university to complete the regular academic year. As the business hub of Mexico, Monterrey is the ideal location for students to learn about business practices while improving their Spanish language skills.
