LIVE and DINE
Find a community in ECU’s West End neighborhood, where you’ll live in one of two international student residences, Greene Hall or White Hall. Unwind after classes in a shared room furnished with desks, dressers, bunk beds, and a mini fridge. Enjoy the building’s amenities which include laundry facilities, study lounges, and meeting rooms available for student use.
Stay fueled with your meal plan, which offers unlimited access to both dining halls on campus. Additional dining options include on-campus markets, nearby chain restaurants, and access by bus to larger grocery stores off campus. While you’re in Greenville, don’t miss out on Eastern-style North Carolina barbecue—a unique Southern specialty that can be enjoyed all over town.
EXPERIENCE
Connect with nature during your time in Greenville through the Adventure Leadership Program, ideal for students looking to participate in outdoor excursions such as hiking, climbing, and water sports. The Office of Global Affairs offers trips to the Outer Banks and Washington D.C., as well as football tailgate parties, pumpkin carving, and an end-of-the-year cookout. Closer to campus, find your people within the numerous campus organizations and club sports, including club yoga, boxing, and e-sports.

Academic Limitations:
ISEP students cannot take courses in Dance, Dental, Nursing, Medical, Clinical Lab Sciences, Physical Therapy, Physician’s Assistant program, or Athletic Training.
ECU accepts students in their second year, and the students may only take courses in the 2000 and 3000 levels. Courses above the 3000 level are significantly more difficult to register for, and the higher-level courses require specific prerequisites that are harder to waive.
Please note that many classes are offered online but due to visa regulations, there is a limit to how many online classes can be a part of your full-time schedule. ISEP students may only take 3 credits/1 course fully online, and must still have a minimum of 9 credit hours being taught in person.
