Academics
Other Academic Conditions
The following program areas are not available to ISEP students due to their high discipline fees and academic preparation requirements: Architecture, Nursing, and Pharmacy.
Registration in classes is not guaranteed as students must meet prerequisites. SDSU will do its best to obtain departmental permission for a class in which the student is interested. However, students must be flexible with class options and will work with an advisor (assigned after arrival on campus) to choose classes as they may change year to year and semester to semester.
Lab Fees: All classes that require a lab must be paid for by the student. This could include classes in landscape architecture, visual arts, dairy sciences and more. Please check for updated course fees to anticipate potential costs.
Classes classified as online or off-campus tuition (this includes English as a Second Language courses) are not included in ISEP benefits. However, students may be able to take the class if willing to pay the tuition and fees associated with this type of class. Most students choose other classes.
PASSPORT: All students must have a valid passport to participate in this program. If you do not have a valid passport, we suggest you start the application process as soon as possible.
VISA: All non-U.S. citizens will be required to obtain a visa. For more information on the process and estimated cost, please review the ISEP Country Handbook here.
