Study in the U.S.A. - Southeast (in English)
As an ISEP student, you can build your own program by choosing your courses from a variety of fields. Use the notes for course searching to help you find which courses are available.
Particularly strong colleges include the College of Communications, College of Business, College of Sciences and Mathematics, and College of Fine Arts.
HOUSING
ISEP students will be housed in a double room in an on-campus residence hall. Students are allowed to apply for any of the housing options on campus, however, there is more limited space in the Living Learning communities, ROTC & STEM, and the village (for our non-traditional students with families). ISEP students will be sent a housing application after acceptance, and the sooner that they apply for housing, the more likely they are to get their housing option of choice.
During vacation periods, ISEP participants who remain in Jonesboro and will require housing please contact Residence Life at reslife@astate.edu four weeks in advance. Spring Break participants have the option to remain in the residence hall.
MEALS
Meal service is suspended during break periods; ISEP students receive equivalent compensation during this time period (in-semester breaks only).
Course Description
Specific program information can be located by navigating the degrees website. Click on the appropriate degree in the undergraduate or graduate column to find out more about each program.

Academics
Other Academic Conditions
Students who wish to enroll in graduate-level courses must show proof of a four-year bachelor's degree or an equivalent degree.
Graduate students may only request courses within one department. Please specify which graduate program you are applying for within your ISEP application.
If you have completed any previous graduate/master’s degree courses, you must have an overall graduate level Grade Point Average of at least 3.0/4.0 US GPA.
If accepted at Arkansas State, students will be required to provide an official sealed transcript, either mailed to the university or hand-delivered upon arrival at orientation. Arkansas State will send further instructions via email about this once students accept their placement.
The requirements for admission are unique to each degree program at the graduate level. Additional Undergraduate and Graduate admission information can be found at the attached links.
The ASU Campus in Mexico (ASUCQ) is not available to incoming ISEP students. Only ASU students going outbound on EXCHANGE programs are allowed through the ASUCQ.
PASSPORT: All students must have a valid passport to participate in this program. If you do not have a valid passport, we suggest you start the application process as soon as possible.
VISA: All non-U.S. citizens will be required to obtain a visa. For more information on the process and estimated cost, please review the ISEP Country Handbook here.
