As an ISEP student, you can build your own program by choosing your courses from a variety of fields. Use the notes for course searching to help you find which courses are available. Some of Frostburg's unique fields of study in Wildlife and Fisheries; and Recreation and Parks Management.
HOUSING
ISEP students are assigned among 5 different on-campus housing buildings that offer double occupancy rooms. Limited cooking facilities are provided. Students who want a small or large single room must request this in advance of arrival and must pay the additional upgrade fees.
All housing buildings have community kitchens and micro-fridges in the bedrooms.
Housing on campus will be provided at no extra cost during vacation periods, provided the student submits a Request To Stay On Campus Form to the Residence Life Office.
MEALS
The Silver Meal Plan comes with 19 meals per week and $100 bonus bucks that can be spent at on-campus dining locations.
Meals are not provided in the dining hall when the university is closed for vacation breaks.
*Calendar Year students are not eligible for ISEP housing and meal benefits over the summer break.
Course Description

All courses available for ISEP Students are taught in English and are at the Undergraduate level.
Students interested in service-learning or volunteer opportunities can find opportunities through Frostburg's Civic Engagement, as well as clubs and organizations on campus.
Credits Earned
Students who complete the program in good standing can expect to earn 12-15 U.S. credits. Students typically enroll in 4-5 courses per term. A term runs for about 15 weeks. To determine how these credits convert at your home institution, please contact your home university coordinator.

Departure Notes
Students are responsible for staying until the end of the semester and may not leave before the final date of their semester exams. Neither ISEP nor Frostburg can guarantee an early departure; leaving early may result in a failing exam grade and/or forfeit of credit.
PASSPORT: All students must have a valid passport to participate in this program. If you do not have a valid passport, we suggest you start the application process as soon as possible.
VISA: All non-U.S. citizens will be required to obtain a visa. For more information on the process and estimated cost, please review the ISEP Country Handbook here.
