This program allows students to gain international experience through connecting with fellow students, faculty, and staff at CSU San Marcos. Whether you’re engaging in a group project with students from California, participating in our Conversation Partner Program, or attending virtual office hours, this program proves that gaining a global perspective can still be accomplished from home. Choose from a variety of majors, format options, or involvement opportunities to customize the experience as your own. Dedicated staff at CSU San Marcos work with each student to maximize their experience by assisting with course selection and virtual campus involvement.

Students are strongly encouraged to connect with CSU San Marcos beyond the classroom. We offer a variety of leadership certificate programs, cross-cultural opportunities, social events, student organizations, health and wellness programming, and countless other ways to get connected beyond your WiFi!

Students interested in taking virtual English courses can do so through the American Language and Culture Institute at CSU San Marcos. This program prepares students of all levels of English ability a pathway option to take English language courses along with virtual university courses.
