Study in the U.S.A. - West (in English) - ISEP Exchange
Carroll's location in Helena, Montana, has a population of about 60,000, is home to the State Capitol, and is in the northwest region of the U.S. The campus is surrounded by the Rocky Mountains as well as national parks, rivers, trails, lakes, and boundless opportunities for hiking, biking, fishing, skiing, camping, rafting and virtually any other outdoor activity you can imagine. Yellowstone National Park and Glacier National Park are just a few hours away from campus, and Helena is home to a vibrant arts community and provides easy access to downtown shopping, dining and entertainment.
Carroll College is a great fit for students interested in business, engineering, communication studies, political science and health fields, but with over 40 majors there is something for everyone. With a student-faculty ratio of 13:1, classes are small but demanding. Strong writing and oral skills are necessary for success.
Research opportunities may be available for students who are proactive about seeking them out, especially in the fields of entrepreneurship and biology.

Academics
Other Academic Conditions
Please note that nursing is not an option for ISEP students and biology is very limited.
As is true of a liberal arts college, students will be required to give oral presentations and submit lengthy written papers for most classes. Because of this, students should be able to read, write and speak at a high academic level.
Students should be prepared to pay additional course fees for science, technology and physical education courses. Other classes also sometimes have fees, but they are minimal.
Certain syllabi may be available in advance to prospective students; contact your ISEP Student Advisor.
Carroll College is willing to accept Duolingo English test as an alternative to other English assessments such as TOEFL and IELTS.
PASSPORT: All students must have a valid passport to participate in this program. If you do not have a valid passport, we suggest you start the application process as soon as possible.
VISA: All non-U.S. citizens will be required to obtain a visa. For more information on the process and estimated cost, please review the ISEP Country Handbook here.
