Study in the U.S.A. - Midwest (in English)
As an ISEP student, you can build your own program by choosing your courses from a variety of fields. Use the notes for course searching to help you find which courses are available.
The most popular programs at Upper Iowa University are business, psychology, environmental science, conservation management and information technology. Visit the UIU academics page for more information about each subject.
UIU uses an 8-week session system, in which there are two sessions per semester. The coursework completed in two terms is equivalent to one semester. Students take two to three courses per term and four to six courses per semester. The majority of students do not have a course on Wednesday unless they have a lab course.
HOUSING
All residence halls are located on campus, and are all within minutes from all academic buildings. Students will be placed in a traditional style residence hall on campus, Garbee Hall, in double rooms (meaning 2 students share a room). This residence hall includes free laundry, a community lounge, internet, and cable (TV not included).
MEALS
Students will be provided with $300 flex dollars which can be utilized to eat at the university cafeteria or other locations such as restaurants or grocery stores.
*Calendar Year students are not eligible for ISEP housing or meal benefits over the summer break
