Western offers many degree programs appropriate for ISEP participants including majors in visual and performing arts, the physical sciences, education, liberal arts and sciences, business management and marketing, and justice and law administration. The School of Visual and Performing Arts, with a state-of-the-art facility, provides art, music and theater arts students with the opportunity to work side-by-side with an outstanding faculty of internationally recognized artists, directors, designers, performers, and scholars in a highly inspiring and professional environment. Western’s Ancell School of Business offers a broad range of specializations to prepare students for careers in accounting, finance, information systems, management and marketing. The justice and law administration curriculum offers concentrations in criminology, legal and paralegal studies, law enforcement, and corrections and rehabilitation. Western programs in the physical sciences offer diverse opportunities for student participation in field research projects regionally and internationally, as well as lab work in Western’s state-of-the-art science building. The university also offers the only bachelor’s degree program in meteorology in the state of Connecticut.
Housing
Housing is available for students in the Pinney Hall apartments on campus. This 425-bed, apartment-style residence hall is typically reserved for junior/senior students and accommodates five students per suite. Each unit contains three furnished bedrooms, two bathrooms, a furnished living and dining area and a full-sized kitchen. Each apartment has a balcony.
Meals
ISEP students will receive a meal stipend based on the cost of living for students at WCSU, which they can use to purchase meals on campus or groceries to cook meals in shared facilities.
*Calendar Year students are not eligible for ISEP housing or meal benefits over the summer break

Please note that some upper level business courses, such as Strategic Management, are not open to ISEP students since U.S. students require these for their capstone courses.
PASSPORT: All students must have a valid passport to participate in this program. If you do not have a valid passport, we suggest you start the application process as soon as possible.
