PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

LIVE and DINE
Live on-campus in Villa Alvarado, Spanish-style apartment buildings designated for upper-level students. Share a fully furnished unit complete with a kitchen with 3-4 other domestic or fellow international students. Enjoy amenities including, but not limited to, on-site laundry, a community recreation room, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Use your meal stipend to dine on campus, or walk over to Trader Joe’s, conveniently located right on campus, to stock your kitchen with everything you’ll need to stay fueled for success.
EXPERIENCE
Take advantage of the myriad support services and programs offered through SDSU’s International Student Center, such as the Ambassador Program and the Global Perspectives Symposium. Enjoy beautiful weather year-round. Check out beautiful beaches such as Mission Beach and La Jolla Cove, and take a day trip to the San Diego Zoo, home to 3,500 animals representing over 650 species.
ACADEMIC TRAINING

Academics
Other Academic Conditions
All exchange students will be required to submit a second application via the Aztec Abroad database to SDSU and upload additional documents upon nomination.
Course Restrictions:
Enrollment in senior thesis or senior project based courses at SDSU cannot be guaranteed.
Graduate level students are not able to participate in undergraduate programs or courses at this institution.
Citizenship Considerations:
Please note that exchange students holding U.S. citizenship are not eligible to study at this institution.
Dual citizens who hold a U.S. passport and do not have permanent residence status in the U.S. can apply for ISEP Exchange at SDSU. However, dual citizens who hold a US passport and have permanent residence in the US are not eligible to apply for ISEP Exchange at SDSU. If you have any questions about this, please contact your SSO.
PASSPORT: All students must have a valid passport to participate in this program. If you do not have a valid passport, we suggest you start the application process as soon as possible.
VISA: All non-U.S. citizens will be required to obtain a visa. For more information on the process and estimated cost, please review the ISEP Country Handbook here.
