ETSU is located along the western edge of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Johnson City, Tennessee. The Tri-Cities (Johnson City, Kingsport and Bristol) area is consistently rated by national publications as one of the most desirable places to live, as well as one of the safest regions in the United States.
