The University of North Georgia is a University System of Georgia leadership institution and is The Military College of Georgia. With about 17,000 students, both cadets and civilians, the University of North Georgia is the seventh-largest public university in the state. Positioned in the state's fastest-growing region, UNG comprises four campuses united by a single mission focused on academic excellence and academic and co-curricular programs that develop students into leaders for a diverse and global society. ISEP students will study and live on the Dahlonega campus, which is the only residential campus. The gold-rush town of Dahlonega has kept its historic charm and spirit.
