Miami University

One of Ohio’s state universities, Miami enrolls about 18,000 students. Some 65 percent of the students are state residents and there are about 2,000 international students. Miami maintains a small college atmosphere, and approximately 50 percent of the students live on campus.

Miami's facilities are extensive. The Center for Performing Arts houses piano and voice studios, Amos music library, and a recital hall. The Goggen Ice Center is home to Miami's hockey team and broomball, one of Miami's most popular intramural sports options. The Armstrong Student Center is the "living room" of the campus where students find meeting rooms, unique dining concepts, and lounge space, among other comforts. The "Miami experience" is based on a rich tradition of academic excellence and intense engagement outside the classroom.
