Virginia Tech (VT) enrolls over 36,000 students, of which 30,000 are undergraduates. VT enrollment includes over 3,800 international students. Around 10,000 students live in on-campus accommodation.
The main campus is situated in Blacksburg, VA which is 4 hours from Washington DC, and 45 minutes from Roanoke VA. The university includes athletic facilities including a coliseum, a stadium, a field house, a gymnasium, and various playing fields. Squires Student Center offers a variety of services and recreational opportunities. Students enjoy hiking and outdoor pursuits as the campus is located close to well-known national parks that are part of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
