University College Cork (Coláiste na hOllscoile Corcaigh) is an award-winning institution with a history of independent thinking stretching back over 170 years. UCC is proud to be ranked in the top 2% of universities in the world, AACSB accredited, and was just recognized as 8th in the world in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2021, which assess universities against the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Visiting students can take modules across the University's four Colleges - the College of Arts, Celtic Studies and Social Sciences, College of Business and Law, College of Medicine and Health, and College of Science, Engineering and Food Science. UCC's campus is located on 42 acres of wooded ground in the heart of Cork, just minutes from the city center.
