Boise State University is a public university located in Boise, Idaho. Established in 1932, Boise State offers more than 190 fields of study across the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral level. It enrolls over 20,000 students annually and confers more undergraduate degrees than any university in Idaho. The university covers 175 acres and is located across the Boise River from downtown Boise. The Boise State Broncos compete in NCAA Division I as part of the Mountain West Conference.

In May 2017, the university broke ground on a brand new Center for the Fine Arts which houses works from a variety of mediums, including a digital "World Museum" devoted to high-tech arts experiences. The Student Union Building ("SUB") features bowling lanes, galleries, restaurants and other student services. Athletic facilities are available for use to ISEP students free of charge. The Global Ambassadors Buddy Program pairs international students with Boise State students for support and crosscultural exchange.
