Finland is one of the safest countries in the world

Finland is a safe country where technology and innovation are highly prized - Finnish companies and individuals use digital resources and mobile technologies at rates among the highest in the world. At the same time, nature is always close by and the conserving the environment in a sustainable way is another core value. Finns are strong believers in equality, education and sustainability. Finland, as a country, strives to become one of the world’s first fossil fuel-free welfare societies, reaching carbon neutrality by 2035.

Finland’s commitments to its values, its citizens and its institutions have led to its predominance in many international rankings, among them that Finland is the most stable nation in the world (Fragile States Index); the freest nation in the world (Freedom House); the safest country in the world (World Economic Forum) and the happiest country in the world for the last six years in a row (Sustainable Development Solutions Network / UN's World Happiness Report) etc.
