With approximately 550 on-campus residents, you will enjoy a traditional campus experience with easy access to Madison's cultural, social and recreational experiences. The city offers 6,000 acres of parkland and greenways, with numerous bike paths linking Madison to Wisconsin's rolling countryside. Located on the wooded shores of Lake Wingra, Edgewood gives students the best of both worlds: the friendly community and individual attention of a small campus, combined with opportunities found in larger cities. There is a small beach, where students have access to boat rentals (kayaks, canoes and stand-up paddle boards). When the weather is nice, it makes for a great afternoon outdoors.
