Universidad Privada Boliviana was created by the Bolivian business community to generate entrepreneurs and fulfill the need of private firms for skilled management and technical professionals. UPB is a leading university in Bolivia with major campuses in the beautiful cities of Cochabamba and La Paz.

Students take advantage of all that UPB has to offer by enrolling in courses alongside local students. Courses are taught almost exclusively in Spanish, although there are an increasing number of courses available in English.

Internships are offered in business, finance, micro-finance, energy, agroindustry, government, education and social work. UPB connects students to nearly 400 private & government organizations who serve as potential internship hosts.

Both UPB campuses offer fields of study that include business administration, communications, marketing and logistics, finance, law and engineering. Not all subjects are offered at both campuses, so please be sure when applying that your field of study is offered at your intended campus. Mining engineering is offered exclusively at the La Paz campus. Graphic design and architecture are only offered in Cochabamba.
