Ursinus College is a liberal arts college. We’re one of the nation’s “Colleges that Change Lives” and a place that embodies openness—open to explore, learn, and innovate.

Offering an immersive American college experience just 25 miles outside of Philadelphia, students have access to world-class cultural, historical, and career opportunities in a major U.S. city, while enjoying the close-knit community of a small, liberal arts campus.

At Ursinus, students can dive into a dynamic academic journey with over 60 majors and minors spanning the arts, sciences, social sciences, and humanities. Our facilities — including modern laboratories, library, studios and our Innovation and Discovery Center—fuel curiosity and hands-on learning.

Beyond academics, Ursinus buzzes with life through 80+ student clubs, from the arts to community service and everything in between. With small class sizes that ensure personalized attention and a campus full of opportunities, Ursinus isn’t just a college—it’s a place where students are unafraid to chart their our own course and make new history each day.

Ursinus' beautiful 170-acre campus provides the ideal setting for liberal education. Located in the small town of Collegeville, a suburb of Philadelphia, Ursinus has access to city-scale resources and opportunities while maintaining the intimate, academically-focused community of a small college campus. Academic and social life at Ursinus come together on a graceful plaza and brick walkway linking academic buildings, residence halls and the student center.

Ursinus has a wide variety of clubs and organizations which provide international and American students with a political voice, creative outlets, networking opportunities, religious community and entertainment.

Our international students are invited to participate in the annual welcoming reception for international students and scholars at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, a unique opportunity to meet people from all over the world who are studying, teaching or researching in the Philadelphia area, see amazing performers and visit the galleries of the Archaeological Museum.
