Established July 1, 2022 Commonwealth University brings together Bloomsburg, Lock Haven, and Mansfield universities, along with Clearfield and Sayre campuses into a single institution with multiple unique locations and campus experiences.   • Bloomsburg Campus

    Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, United States Campus Website

    As the largest of the three Commonwealth University campuses, Bloomsburg campus is home to approximately 7,000 students on its 366-acre campus. The nearby town of Bloomsburg offers an ever-expanding array of dining, entertainment, lodging and shopping options. The nearby Susquehanna River plays host to endless outdoor fun, such as biking, hiking and boating. The campus includes residence halls, apartment buildings, and an all-suite-style building. Driving by car from Bloomsburg takes about 2.5 hours to New York City, about 4 hours to Washington, DC, about 2.5 hours to Philadelphia, and about 4 hours to Pittsburgh.

  • Lock Haven Campus

    Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, United States Campus Website

    The Lock Haven Campus is located on the West Branch of the Susquehanna River in the scenic mountains of central Pennsylvania, and is home to approximately 2,600 students on its 200-acre campus. Small class sizes and personal support means that Lock Haven campus faculty and staff provide each student with the tools and support they need to succeed. The historic town of Lock Haven boasts a vital downtown with tree-lined streets and beautiful Victorian homes in a safe and quiet environment. Lock Haven is about a 45-minute drive from State College and Williamsport and four hours from New York City, Philadelphia, Washington, and Pittsburgh. 

  • Mansfield Campus

    Mansfield, Pennsylvania, United States Campus Website

    Founded in 1857, the Mansfield Campus is the smallest of the three campuses with approximately 1,300 students nestled in the hills of north central Pennsylvania. Its 174-acre campus is surrounded by state parks, lakes, and spectacular views. Students will immediately feel part of the close campus community and have access to its amenities, including an indoor swimming pool, fitness center, and multiple recreation areas. The small town of Mansfield is a short walk from campus and offers shops and restaurants. Despite its quiet rural setting, students are not far – by car – from more urban areas: Corning, NY (30 minutes), Williamsport (45 minutes), NYC (4 hours), Philadelphia (4 hours), and Pittsburgh (4 hours).
