Who We Are

Clark University is a private research university in Worcester, Massachusettes, just an hour by train away from Boston and the Atlantic Ocean. Founded in 1887, Clark was one of the first modern research universities in the United States. 

Today, Clark promotes a rigorous liberal arts curriculum with an international student population that is significantly larger than other colleges of its size. Clark offers 40+ majors and 50+ minors, including a top-5 game design program and many opportunities for research with world-class faculty.

  Clark University's 72-acre, tree-filled campus is located in Worcester, Massachusetts, known as "the Heart of the Commonwealth." Located in the center of the state, Clark is easily accessible from just about any point in New England, including Boston (1 hour), Providence, Rhode Island (45 minutes), and Portland, Maine (2 hours). Campus is also an easy 3.5 hour bus ride from New York City.
