    Belfast Campus

    Ulster University is transforming the higher education landscape with the £265 million landmark development at the Belfast campus. Located in the heart of the vibrant Cathedral Quarter, the visionary new campus is one of the largest higher education capital builds in Europe. It will provide a progressive learning, teaching and research environment supported by the best innovative technology, allowing us to nurture talent and innovation. 

    Fields of Study: Architecture, Art, Hospitality and Culinary Arts 

    Coleraine Campus

    The feeling of community at our Coleraine campus makes for a warm and welcoming student experience. The relaxed, outdoor atmosphere of the north coast is reflected in the feel of this thriving campus.

    A wide range of subjects are available at Coleraine, which makes for an interesting mixture of students and staff. The campus sits on the banks of the River Bann, less than a mile from the town centre. Coleraine town is the largest and busiest on the Causeway coast. Together with the nearby seaside towns of Portrush and Portstewart and the Giant’s Causeway World Heritage Site, this area is a major international tourist destination and has an excellent selection of bars, clubs and award-winning restaurants.

    Derry ~ Londonderry Campus

    The friendly village atmosphere of our Derry~Londonderry campus offers an intimate learning environment in the heart of Northern Ireland’s second city, Derry~Londonderry. As part of the Derry~Londonderry community you will receive excellent support and enjoy a full social life.

    The beautiful, leafy campus comprises a mixture of historical and new buildings and is dominated by the main building – known by some students as ‘Hogwarts’ due to its impressive Gothic architecture. The famous walled city centre and the River Foyle are a short walk from the campus. Located in the North West of Northern Ireland and a short distance from County Donegal, Derry~Londonderry is ideally situated for exploring some of Ireland’s most dramatic landscapes.

    Getting Involved

    Students can connect with the student’s union to find out what activities they can become involved in when the arrive at Ulster including sports, religious and international societies.

  • Belfast Campus

    The Belfast campus is situated in the artistic and cultural centre of the city, the Cathedral Quarter. Although traditionally associated with art, the campus spans an increasing and exciting range of subjects including computing, engineering, business, politics, policy, law, communication, sports, architecture, hospitality, event management, photography and digital animation.

    Our vibrant campus plays host to frequent fashion shows and art exhibitions and is an exciting place to study and work. It is also home to The Academy training restaurant.
