International University, an affiliate of Vietnam National University HCMC, is a multi-disciplinary university with diverse majors. It is the first public university in Vietnam where English is used as the language of instruction, and research. The university's mission is to be recognized as one of the top research-oriented universities in Vietnam and in Asia.
IU offers 14 different undergraduate programs including Business Administration, Banking Finance, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Food Technology, Aquatic Resources Management, Biochemistry, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Automation and Control Engineering, Industrial and System Engineering, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Biomedical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Financial Engineering and Risk Management. Seven graduate programs are offered in Biotechnology, Electrical Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Information Technology Management, Business Administration, Applied Mathematics.

In order to be eligible for this program, students must complete at least one year of full-time study (undergraduate level) or one semester of full-time study (graduate level), and commit to a full workload (no less than 14 credits per semester) for the duration of their studies at IU.
