Study in Southern Spain (in English, Spanish) - ISEP Exchange
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
ISEP students immerse themselves in Spanish culture by taking university classes with local students. The Universidad de Sevilla has an active student body, and ISEP students can participate in sports teams, cultural activities and extracurricular groups. The International Office organizes welcome events and excursions for students, and ISEP students can also take advantage of the university's buddy program.
HOUSING AND MEALS
ISEP students in Sevilla will be assigned a room in a university residence and receive a meal plan.
Course Description
Universidad de Sevilla offers a wide variety of academic subjects. For an overview of the subjects offered, review the full list of undergraduate degrees.
Tips for finding courses:
1. View the list of degree programs, select the area of study (e.g. 'Artes y Humanidades') and navigate to the specific Degree (e.g. 'Grado en Biología')
2. Click on the PLANIFICACIÓN DE LA ENSEÑANZA tab on the left-hand side of the page.
3. Click on Hoja informativa del Plan de Estudios to see which semester a particular course is taught.
- Under Duración: C1=Fall Semester, C2 = Spring Semester, A = All Year course (not open to semester students)
4. Go back to the main Plan de Estudios page. Scroll down and click on the course name and then on the PROGRAMAS Y PROYECTOS tab. Click on Consulta del Programa y Poyectos y su Histórico and the Programa de la asignatura PDF link to view the course syllabus.
Courses in English:
The top fields of study offered in English are Architecture, English Studies, Finance, Information Technology and Psychology.
You can find coursework in English by department. For an up-to-date list of courses offered in English, review the following document. In order to view the syllabus, use the instructions above to navigate to the particular course details.
- If the course has a section taught in English, the English-taught section is generally the highest-numbered Proyecto Docente.

All students are required to submit an ISEP Language Evaluation for Spanish at a B1 level, even if they plan to take all classes in English.
Placement into the English-taught programs is subject to departmental approval.
