Tio Business School has two campuses one in the heart of Amsterdam and the other at Utrecht, the largest student city in all of Europe! Course Description

TIO Business School specializes in a hands-on learning approach for tourism, hospitality, and business managment. Please note that different modules are offered during the Fall and Spring terms. 

Credits Earned

A full time student in the Netherlands enrolls in approximately 25-30 ECs per semester. You can see these modules include 25 ECs and students can fill the remainder of their credit needs with an Elective Course. Crossover between Modules is NOT permitted. To determine how these credits convert at your home institution, please contact your home university coordinator.

Special Application Instructions

Prerequisites

Students must be entering their third year of study at their home university.

Additionally, students must have completed at four to five courses in their field of study at the time of application. Students must upload a document under "Additional Documents" listing at least 4 courses that they've already completed at the university level in their intended field of study at TIO.

Internal Application

Students will be expected to submit a supplemental application which is required of the host institution for the purpose of admission and enrollment. Instructions will be sent by the ISEP Host Coordinator by email after placement.  

Accommodations Needs 

TIO Business School has certain services available to students with reasonable accommodation requests. In general, learning accommodations for the following can be arranged: dyslexia, dyscalculia, ADHD, physical disability, chronic illness, psychological complaints or autism. Students should speak with their ISEP Student Services Officer in advance to request if specific accommodations can be arranged. 

PASSPORT: All students must have a valid passport to participate in this program. If you do not currently have a valid passport, there is a possibility that you may not be able to start the program at Tio. A valid passport is required for a visa/residence permit application.

Students must submit a copy of their passport in order to complete the TIO registration process. If not submitted with their initial ISEP application, students must submit this documentation to TIO by the followng dates: 

Spring semester: 1st of October

Fall Semester: 1st of May

VISA/RESIDENCE PERMIT: Most students attending this program will be required to obtain a visa/residence permit. For more information on the process and estimated cost, please review the ISEP Country Handbook here.
