If the year you plan to study abroad is not listed, click the semester you're interested in for the previous year. You can also follow the instructions on the page to use the course search, for classes taught both in English and Korean.
ISEP participants have the same access to courses as other incoming international students. The registration guidelines and course catalogue website can be found here.
Academics
Other Academic Conditions
Students must satisfy all qualification below to be accepted as an exchange student at Hanyang.
-No. of semester completed: At least 1 semester at your home ISEP institution completed by the time of application
-Cumulative GPA: Minimum 60%
-must be able to provide a transcript including all semesters and courses applicant completed at the time of application
-please use CGPA Calculator in case your institution does not offer the info
-As GPA evaluation system can be varied by university and country(in 4.0, 4.5, 10, 12, 20 or 100 scale), Hanyang will review the transcript based on the grading system of applicant’s home university
-If your U.S. institution GPA is below a 2.75, you will be required to submit a GPA statement in the Eligibility tab of your ISEP application.
-Language Proficiency : B2 level of English(IELTS 5.5, TOEIC 785, IBT 72, ITP 543) or TOPIK 3 Level of Korean
Exception : Korean citizenship holders or students from universities in English-speaking countries (US, Canada (except Quebec), UK, Australia and New Zealand)
NOTE
- Business : Course registration is highly competitive(We recommend Division of International Studies)
- Portfolio materials or audition may be required for: College of Music, College of Art and Physical education, Design relevant department
The following schools/departments are unavailable for exchange students:
- School of Nursing
- College of Medicine
- College of Pharmacy
- Graduate School of Technology & Innovation Management
- Graduate School of International Studies
- Graduate School of Urban Studies
- (General) Graduate School – Department of Business Administration
- (Professional) Graduate School of Business(MBA)
PASSPORT: All students must have a valid passport to participate in this program. If you do not have a valid passport, we suggest you start the application process as soon as possible.
VISA/RESIDENCE PERMIT: Most students attending this program will be required to obtain a visa/residence permit. For more information on the process and estimated cost, please review the ISEP Country Handbook here.
