Study in France - French Language & Culture (in French) - ISEP Exchange

The Université de Caen offers an excellent French Language and Culture program to students at all French levels from the Département de Formations en Langues. Students attend French language, civilization, literature, and teaching methodology classes alongside non-native international French speakers. Courses are tailored to fit the students’ language levels and are fully immersive. Upper level French students can take one or two regular university courses in French along with their Language & Culture courses. All students must take French language exam to determine their French language level on arrival. 

HOUSING AND MEALS

ISEP students live in an on-campus residence hall and receive a meal stipend. 

SCHOLARSHIP

This program qualifies for the ISEP French and German Language Annette Kade Fund Scholarship. The scholarship awards $500 - $1,500 USD to students who are from a U.S. institution and studying French or German language in Austria, France, Germany, Reunion Island, or Switzerland. Learn more here!

Universite de Caen is most appropriate for students who want to study French language and culture courses. 

PASSPORT: All students must have a valid passport to participate in this program. If you do not have a valid passport, we suggest you start the application process as soon as possible.
