PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The University of Sunderland has more than 27,000 students and welcomes about 6,000 international students from nearly 60 countries who make up 37% of the student population. Taught programs in the university are based upon a modular structure allowing most students scope to tailor their degree to their exact requirements.

HOUSING

ISEP Students will be accommodated in The Precinct, where they will stay in single rooms with shared bathrooms. Each block is shared by 10 students and includes a kitchen. Details on applying for accommodation will be provided after confirmation of placement.

MEALS

ISEP Exchange students will receive a meal stipend based on the cost of living for students in Sunderland, which they can use to purchase groceries and cook meals in shared facilities.

All ISEP students will be expected to budget for their meals accordingly, and can ask their ISEP Student Services Coordinator for tips, as well as check out ISEP's resources for Budgeting for Study Abroad

Course Description

Go to What Can I Study for more information and to access our Module Guide. Modules may carry 10 - 40 credits each. Most students take 60 credits per semester, which equals 30 ECTS, or 12-15 US credits. It is recommended that students select a few extra courses/modules that they would be willing to enroll in (as back-ups) in case a particular course they have selected on their application is not being offered during a particular semester.

You should use the Module Guide, which is the most up to date guide of modules available.* You should choose as many options as possible, but you will only be enrolled in 60 credits per semester that you are here.

*Please note that modules are subject to availability.
