LIFE ABROAD

Study in the serene setting of Northeast Missouri, surrounded by the natural beauty of a 3,000-acre state park. Enjoy the convenience of a compact campus where you can reach all university facilities and activities within a short 10-15 minute walk.

LIVE

Live on campus, where you'll reside in comfortable residence halls conveniently located near most academic buildings. A limited amount of family housing is available for those with dependents, and accessibility needs can be met with ADA compliant bathrooms and rooms available upon request.

DINE

While at Truman you’ll have an included meal plan, providing 19-21 meals per week. The meal plan can be used at any of the dining services on campus including the residence hall cafeterias or popular spots like Starbucks and Einstein Bros Bagels in the Student Union Building. Shared kitchens are available on each floor of the residence halls for those craving a homemade meal. See additional details below.

EXPERIENCE

Show your university spirit by wearing purple and white school colors during sporting events. Engage in campus traditions like Purple Fridays, where you'll join fellow students in wearing purple attire and participating in activities at the Student Union Building. Expand your cultural horizons by attending the Center for International Students' exciting events, including International Idol, International Dinner, and International Education Week.

EXPLORE

Explore the quintessential American experience in Kirksville, featuring classic small-town festivals, cultural events, nightlife, and local restaurants and farmer’s markets. Take advantage of daily Amtrak trains to Chicago, or opt for a quick 1-hour & 30-minute flight to the city for a weekend adventure off-campus!
