EXPERIENCE 

Embrace living like a local by diving into the International Friends Club designed to create a strong community among local and international students. IFC and the Student Union organize weekly sports, culture, and sightseeing activities to help visiting students navigate a new environment. Take a Czech Survival class upon arrival at orientation to learn the basics to communicate while in Prague! After class, visit beautiful areas such as the Charles Bridge, Jewish Quarter, and the largest ancient castle complex in the world.

Centrally located in Europe, Prague is the perfect base for weekend exploration. Check out nearby destinations including Vienna, Munich, Budapest, or Krakow. Course Description

Since 1998, UNYP has been offering the best in English-language higher education in Central Europe, with a focus on Business Administration, Communication, Finance, Marketing, International Relations, and Psychology. Study alongside students from all over the world at UNYP in a range of subjects.  UNYP’s courses and degrees are accredited by American, Czech and British accreditation authorities.

Credits Earned 

Students who complete the program in good standing can expect to earn 12-15 US credits. Each course is generally worth 3-4 credits.

Special Application Instructions

Students must submit a statement of motivation (about 400 words) to the "Additional Documents" section of their application addressing the following three topics: 

1. Why you want to study at UNYP

2. How the program will benefit you

3. Any relevant experiences

Students are required to submit an internal application following their placement which is required of the host institution. Instructions will be sent by the ISEP Host Coordinator by email. 

PASSPORT: All students must have a valid passport to participate in this program. If you do not have a valid passport, we suggest you start the application process as soon as possible. 

VISA/RESIDENCE PERMIT: Most students attending this program will be required to obtain a visa/residence permit. For more information on the process and estimated cost, please review the ISEP Country Handbook here.

Other Academic Conditions

Students must apply for at least 12 US credits in order to comply with student visa requirements. 

There is an additional per credit fee for students wishing to take 16-18 credits in one semester (more than the allotted 12-15 credits included in the ISEP program). This additional fee is the responsibility of the student and should be paid to UNYP directly.

The semester typically runs from:

Late-August to Mid-December for the Fall semester

Mid-January to Mid-May for the Spring semester

Under extenuating circumstances, UNYP may be able to provide a program lasting 89 days if given advanced notice. Please contact your ISEP Student Services Officer Immediately if you have visa troubles.
