Yasar University is located in the center of the city of Izmir on the scenic western coast of Turkey. Izmir is the third most populous city in Turkey after Istanbul and Ankara, and the second-largest city on the Aegean Sea after Athens.
Yasar University offers over sixty degree programs taught in English at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. Students are given every opportunity to make the most of their university experience in a supportive learning environment. HOUSING & MEALS
ISEP students live in shared rooms with an ensuite bathroom in the university halls of residence and have a meal plan. The university residence is well-located within the city and less than a 5-minute walk from campus. The residence accommodates about 400 students in two single-sex blocks, with free WiFi, 24/7 security and a cleaning service once per week. The dorms offer students a safe and comfortable environment as well as providing entertainment options during their time at Yasar.
Course Description
All degree programs at Yasar University are taught entirely in English, with the exception of the Faculty of Law where most courses are in Turkish, and the Faculty of Art and Design where some studio work is in Turkish.
Suggested fields of study include architecture, business, engineering, psychology, and international relations. Students enroll in 24-30 ECTS per semester, which is generally equivalent to 12-15 U.S. credits.

Go to the Course Catalog
• Click on Academic Units -> Batchelor’s Degree or Master's Degree
• Click on any of the degree program names, then on “course structure” in the left sidebar under “Information Package” to show all of the courses for that degree program.
o For the few programs where there is instruction is in Turkish, the database indicates which select courses are in English
• Click on the i icon next to the name of each course to view detailed course descriptions
o Click on the arrow symbol in the top bar to the left of the program name to see all of the options for program electives by degree program.

Other Academic Conditions
Students applying to enroll in graduate-level courses must meet separate entry requirements for the Yasar graduate program as described on the university website. Graduate students must also have completed an undergraduate degree in their home country prior to applying.
PASSPORT: All students must have a valid passport to participate in this program. If you do not have a valid passport, we suggest you start the application process as soon as possible.
VISA: All students will be required to obtain a visa in advance of their program and apply for a residence permit once in Turkey. For more information on the process and estimated cost, please review the ISEP Country Handbook. Students studying in Turkey must purchase Turkish health insurance in addition to purchasing ISEP health insurance. This additional insurance costs approximately 25 USD per month and is required to obtain the required Turkish residence permit.
