Regular University Courses (in English)
The University of Vigo is a young, dynamic university in Spain with a diverse academic offering. Located in the green hills of Galicia, three campuses are open to ISEP students.
The fashionable Vigo campus offers degrees in Languages, Business Administration, Engineering, Sciences, and is located just a short bus ride from the beach. The Pontevedra campus is nestled in the historic city center, and offers degrees in Communication, Fine Arts, Advertising and Physiotherapy. The Ourense campus is in the province of the same name, a short distance from the famous Cañón del Sil, a large, breathtaking canyon carved out by the Sil River. The Ourense campus offers degrees in History, Law, Business and Tourism, Computer Engineering, and Environmental and Agricultural Sciences.
The university receives many foreign students every year, contributing to the international atmosphere. The Language Center offers intensive courses in Spanish for non-native speakers as well as courses in popular foreign languages.

Academics
Other Academic Conditions
Students are responsible for the cost of transport to either campus. Students may only register for classes at one campus, Vigo, Pontevedra or Ourense. Students studying at the Pontevedra or Ourense campuses will live in Pontevedra or Ourense. Note that there is no ISEP coordinator at the Pontevedra or Ourense campuses. The ISEP coordinators are located on the Vigo campus and will remain in constant communication with students at both campuses. ISEP students on these campuses will be assisted by officers of the International Office on these campuses, and by the international coordinators at the schools where they attend classes.
Health Sciences (Nursing) is closed to ISEP students.
A minimum of 4 semesters of university-level Spanish or the equivalent must be completed prior to the program (students should be at the intermediate level). Students with only 4 semesters of Spanish may enroll in regular university courses taught in English, and may enroll in Spanish as a Second Language classes through the Language Center, see below for additional details. Students with only 4 semesters of Spanish may enroll in one or two regular university courses instructed in Spanish in addition to other coursework if their level of Spanish is sufficient to do so.
Spanish language courses are offered in addition to regular classes at the Centro de Lenguas (Language Center) during the Academic Year and Semester for an additional fee for all levels (not included in ISEP benefits). Contact hours per course: 60 per semester or 4 European credits. Grades and credits will be noted on an official certificate. Please note that these classes will not appear on the regular university transcript. Students should verify with their home university if credits from certificates will be accepted for transfer.
