Study in Brazil (in Portuguese) - ISEP Exchange
As the fourth largest city in the world and the largest city in the Southern Hemisphere. São Paulo is the cultural and financial capital of Brazil, and one of the top cities for study abroad in Latin America (QS Best Student Cities Ranking). With world-renowned nightlife, excellent cuisine, a lively fashion scene, 223 cinemas, 92 theatres, 11 cultural centers, 70 museums and dozens of historic buildings, there is always something new to explore in this metropolis of 21 million people. São Paulo is also a melting pot of different cultures, with large Italian, Arab and Japanese communities.
Located in Higienópolis, one of the most traditional districts of São Paulo, Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado was originally founded in 1947 as a foundation to support fine arts. The Museum of Brazilian Art, the FAAP Theatre and the Artist in Residence program make FAAP one of the most prominent institutions promoting arts and culture in the region of São Paulo. Today, FAAP is considered one of the most important and respected academic and cultural institutions in Brazil, and FAAP’s Executive MBA is considered one of the best in the country. FAAP prepares future business, public, cultural and artistic leaders, with a mission to promote both teaching and the arts and provide its students with a well-rounded education.
ISEP students immerse themselves in Brazilian culture and daily life by taking university classes with local students and living in the community. The university has an active student body, and ISEP students can participate in sports teams, cultural activities and student groups.
