Paris is recognized internationally as a leading center for business and culture, is a wonderful choice for those looking to spend a few months interning abroad. Known as the City of Lights, Paris offers an unparalleled combination of romance, history, and a forward-thinking and influential work culture where the work week is officially 35 hours.

An internship in Paris is unique, as most placements require some French language skills and positions are competitive as overseas college students compete with French students for work experience. Internship placements are available in a wide range of fields but some of the most popular include fashion, business, marketing and international politics.

HOW IT WORKS

Complete a full-time internship abroad and lay the groundwork for your future career! Work in a global environment and learn about your field from a cross-cultural perspective.

ISEP and its partners at Global Experiences work with you to find an internship placement that matches your career aspirations, educational background and location preferences. During the application process, you will conduct a brief phone call with an ISEP Student Advisor to learn about your goals for interning abroad. If accepted, you will be guaranteed an internship in your desired career field.

In the months leading up to the term abroad, you will be matched with potential employers and interview with them directly to learn more about each other. If everything goes well, the internship is finalized. You will know your internship placement and role before you depart to your host country.

TESTIMONIAL

“I have always dreamed of going to Paris one day. Not for a vacation, but to actually experience the culture and lifestyle of French people for a couple of months. This program made my dreams come true. I came to Paris as an intern for two months and these two months abroad were the best couple of months in my entire life. My dream would not have come true without this program because they took care of everything, they got me an amazing internship, a place a to stay, a location coordinator and so much more. I'm so grateful to this program for making my summer so unbelievably amazing and a once in a lifetime experience I will never forget!”
