Study in England (in English) - ISEP Exchange
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Located in the heart of Lancashire, in the North West of England, close to the major cities of Manchester and Liverpool, you'll find Preston is a friendly bustling city, traditional yet with a young and lively atmostphere.
In the Complete University Guide, Preston is ranked as one of the safest places to study in the UK. That's because as well as being a student-friendly city, we take care of you with initiatives such as 24-hour CCTV and a safety bus scheme.
We are surrounded by excellent parks where you can relax and unwind, including the beautiful and historical Avenham Park with its Riverside Walk, and there are cycle lanes around the Campus and the City. We're also less than an hour away from the impressive Lake District.
UCLAN is proud of our four star rating by the QS World University Rankings, and within that, the five stars for excellence in our teaching quality and facilities, like our £15 million Media Factory and our cutting-edge science labs, where realistic environments can help you develop your skills.
HOUSING
ISEP students will be housed in university dormitories in single rooms in shared apartments. Rooms with en suite bathrooms are available for an additional charge.
MEALS
Students will receive a meal stipend based on the cost of living for students in Preston, which they can use to purchase groceries and cook meals in shared facilities. Stipends are paid in cash every month.
All ISEP students will be expected to budget for their meals accordingly, and can ask their ISEP Student Services Coordinator for tips, as well as check out ISEP's resources for Budgeting for Study Abroad.
