RISE Program allows students to study on the central island of Okinawa, one of Japan's most unique and historically complex prefectures. There are four courses in RISE Program. Applicants may choose to enroll in either course depending on their purpose of studying abroad. For more detail about each course, please access to our website.

1. Japan-Okinawa Studies Course*

2. Glocal Leadership Course

3. Japanese Language Teacher Training Course

4. Major Studies Course

*To apply for the Japan-Okinawa Studies Course, please apply using the separate ISEP program page. ISEP advises students to only list one program, as students will not be considered for both.

2. Students in the Glocal Leadership course learn to "think globally and act locally," tackling the problems that affect both the local and international communities. Students will take the Glocal Engagement Seminar and Business Japanese.
