Universidad de Palermo is located in Buenos Aires, a sophisticated and dynamic metropolis with a population of over 13 million. Buenos Aires is famous for its European-influenced architecture, indulgent foodie scene and vibrant nightlife, with glamourous tango at the center of it all. Known for its multiculturalism and hospitality, Buenos Aires has also been named as the best city in the Spanish-speaking world for international students (QS Best Student Cities Ranking).

Universidad de Palermo is located in the trendy and artistic Palermo neighborhood of Buenos Aires. UP is a leading private university in Argentina, and is committed to academic excellence, innovation and diversity. UP students come from over 50 different countries, creating a global environment on campus and in the community.

ISEP students immerse themselves Argentine culture and daily life by taking university classes with local students and living with a local host family or in a residence hall near campus. The university has an active student body, and ISEP students can participate in sports teams, cultural activities and student groups. ISEP students can also be matched with a local "buddy" to help them adjust to life at UP and in Buenos Aires. While studying at UP, students will have countless opportunities to explore the city’s rich cultural and artistic scene, and experience the cafes, fútbol, theatre and tango that make Buenos Aires an ideal study abroad destination and a gateway to the rest of Argentina.

Universidad de Palermo offers a variety of subjects taught entirely in Spanish including business, engineering, design, arts and social sciences. Tips for finding courses:

1. View the list of undergraduate degree programs

2. Click on the specific degree name you are interested in, then click "plan de estudios" from the menu bar to view the degree map and course descriptions. All courses in a degree map are available for ISEP students, except end-of-degree thesis type courses (e.g., Seminario de Integracion, etc.).

3. Plan de estudios are broken down by year and semester. Most degrees are made up of 4 or 5 years of courses. Courses in row "1" on the degree map are offered January – June, and courses in “2” rows are offered July – December. Each year will have a row 1 & 2.

A full course load at Palermo is considered 5 courses. Courses generally meet for 12 hours each month (3 hours per week) and are worth 4 credits each in Palermo’s academic system.

If you require syllabi during the application process, please contact your Student Services Officer and ISEP will help facilitate receiving syllabi for specific courses.
