The university’s special research units include the Archipelago Research Institute and the Sub-arctic Research Institute, both situated in appropriate and scenic locations.

Other Academic Conditions
Students must be in their 3rd or 4th year of study while abroad in order to take undergraduate courses at UT. Students wishing to take Master level coursework must either be a Master student or in their final year of their Bachelor degree. Most courses are intended for students that have completed basic coursework in their field of study prior to exchange.
PASSPORT: All students must have a valid passport to participate in this program. If you do not have a valid passport, we suggest you start the application process as soon as possible.
VISA/RESIDENCE PERMIT: Most students attending this program will be required to obtain a visa/residence permit. For more information on the process and estimated cost, please review the ISEP Country Handbook here.
