Located in the Normandy region not far from the D-Day beaches and the English Channel, the Université de Caen offers courses for a full immersion experience or French language and culture courses for international students at the Département de Formations en Langues. Students studying in Caen for a full-year with a high level of French have the opportunity to teach English in local middle or high schools.

Students with a B2 language level can fully immerse themselves in the French language by taking regular university courses in French alongside local students. Students can choose from a variety of fields to design their own schedule. French language courses are also available to students throughout the semester and full year.

See the ISEP France top-site planner for a focused summary of the best sites in France for a popular range of subject fields.
