Technische Universität Braunschweig is a research university with a rich tradition. For more than 260 years TU Braunschweig has provided a first-class education in the fields of engineering sciences and been at the forefront of technological development. The university is a member of the TU 9 - Network, the consortium of Germany’s leading institutes of technology. For 18,000 students TU Braunschweig is a gateway to professional life. Six departments and 120 institutes offer 65 different degree programs and excellent facilities for interdisciplinary research work within the fields of engineering, natural and social sciences and the humanities.
HOUSING AND MEALS
The Studentenwerk at TU Braunschweig has ten residence halls for university students. Room types range from single rooms with a shared kitchen and bathroom to individual spartments. Most rooms have cooking facilities. Students wishing to arrange their own accommodations must inform the ISEP Coordinator far in advance. Students are issued a combined monthly stipend for housing and meals.
SCHOLARSHIP
This program qualifies for the ISEP French and German Language Annette Kade Fund Scholarship. The scholarship awards $500 - $1,500 USD to students who are from a U.S. institution and studying French or German language in Austria, France, Germany, Reunion Island, or Switzerland. Learn more here!
Course Description

Researching courses in English on a German university homepage can sometimes be difficult and confusing. Use the ISEP Guide to Course Selection to learn more about navigating a German website, finding courses in both English and German, and some translations of common words and major fields of study.

Academics
Other Academic Conditions
All fields are open to ISEP students; however some restrictions may apply to the fields of biology, biotechnology, food chemistry, and pharmacy due to limited lab space. It is strongly recommended that applicants in these fields are flexible with their choice of courses.
PASSPORT: All students must have a valid passport to participate in this program. If you do not have a valid passport, we suggest you start the application process as soon as possible.
