PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore offers summer sessions for students who want to make the most of a summer in Italy while receiving credit for courses in a variety of topics!
Students can take courses in Business, Media and Communications, International Relations, Psychology, and Italian Culture on the university's main campus in Milan. Health Science courses are offered on the university's Rome campus. Agribusiness and Food Science courses are offered on the university's Piacenza campus.
Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, founded in 1921 by Father Agostino Gemelli, is one of the most comprehensive and complete higher education institutions in Italy. HOUSING
Following the program's application deadline, students will be contacted by UCSC regarding the housing registration process. Students will receive housing options based on their program location, housing availability and the course(s) they choose.
Milan: Students may be accommodated in a shared student apartment or in a residence hall.
Piacenza: Students may be placed in one of two different student residences.
Rome: Students may be placed in one of two different student residences.
MEALS
Regardless of host city, meal benefits are not included in ISEP's summer sessions at Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and students will be expected to use their own funds for meals. Students should budget accordingly and can ask their ISEP Student Services Coordinator for tips, as well as check out ISEP's resources for Budgeting for Study Abroad.
Course Description
The summer program is divided into three sessions. Each session has a duration of two weeks. Students may enroll in one course per session - there are multiple courses across three campuses offered each session.
Each two-week course is worth 6 ECTS (3 U.S. credits) and grants 44 contact hours. Students will have classes four days per week and will participate in site visits related to course content one day per week. All courses and material are taught entirely in English.

- Your session/course selections will be finalized after placement when completing your ISEP Course Request List.
- The dates indicated below correspond to the full summer program period. Students should consult the table above for specific session dates.
