LIFE ABROAD

Excursions & Cultural Experiences

The Cattolica campus in Milan is located in the heart of the city, and was orignially a monastery designed by Renaissance architect Donato Bramante in the 16th century. All students participate in co-curricular site visits one day per week. See a full list of example site visits here! For students planning independent travel, Milan is a conveniently positioned transport hub with three airports, high-speed trains, located only a 2-hour drive from the Alps and the Ligurian coast.

Housing & Meals

Live with fellow students in a shared apartment in an off-campus residence hall, featuring comfortable double or triple rooms. While meals aren’t included, you can enjoy the convenience of grocery stores within a 5-minute walk, prepare your own meals in shared kitchens, or explore the city’s diverse and affordable dining options. Explore the city with ease—public transportation is always a short walk away, and the Cattolica campus is a 25–40-minute commute on average.

Explore Milan

The historic city of Milan is the capital of Lombardy, Italy's richest, most populated and most economically active region. Milan has always been forward-looking. During its 2,000 year history, it has been a driving force for great social, economic, cultural and political events. Milan is the economic capital of Italy with over 3,000 active companies present, ranging from SMEs to multinationals. It is also the world capital of fashion and design brands and host of many annual international events. Milan is also a city of art, with a wealth of monuments, palaces, churches and museums including the Duomo and La Scala, the temple of Opera.
