Study in Finland (in English) - ISEP Exchange
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
As an ISEP student, you can build your own program by choosing your courses from a variety of fields, still keeping in mind that at least half of the courses need to be from one field. Use the notes for course searching to help you find which courses are available.
HOUSING
ISEP students will receive a combined housing and meal stipend and will be required to apply for accommodation in local student residences, for a single room in a shared apartment. For Joensuu campus, students will apply with the Student Husing Company Joensuun Elli, and for Kuopio campus students will apply with Kuopas. Students are encouraged to submit their applications on time in order to secure options with lower monthly rents.
MEALS
All ISEP students will receive a combined housing and meal stipend based on the cost of living for students in Joensuu and Kuopio, which they can use to purchase groceries and cook meals in shared facilities. This stipend is disbursed once per semester into Finnish bank accounts, which students will need to set up upon arrival. Please note that this can take a few weeks, so students should be prepared with funding for meals and start-up costs during that time until the stipend can be disbursed. Students will be expected to budget for their meals accordingly, and can ask their ISEP Student Services Coordinator for tips, as well as check out ISEP's resources for Budgeting for Study Abroad.
