Course Description

Researching courses in English on an Austrian university homepage can sometimes be difficult and confusing. You can use the ISEP Guide to Course Selection to find information about navigating a university website, finding courses in both English and German and some translations of common words and major fields of study.

TU Graz can be flexible if students need to return to their home universities prior to the official end of semester.  In those cases, students may be granted an early exam or individual assessments or projects, in order to earn ECTS credits. Students are supported by the International Office at TU Graz to speak to professors and find individual solutions for each of their courses.

Exams for the Winter semester at TU Graz go through the end of January. Students are expected to stay on program for the entire semester. Please note: Students who must return home by late December or Early January may be able to arrange early exams. Students who need to return early should communicate their departure date with their host coordinator upon placement. It is a student’s responsibility to ensure they make proper arrangements to take exams early or virtually after departure.

Please see the academic calendar for updated semester dates.

Please note that students must take a minimum of 16 ECTS per semester (8 US credits).
