IUT Faculty- Outdoor Sports Industry Programs (Fall Semester or Full Year)
Benefit from academic programs built entirely by companies from the outdoor sports industry and enjoy classes taught by industry professionals. Annecy is an exceptional geographic and strategic location and the official capital of a region that covers the entire Alps and encompasses thousands of employees who work in the sports and recreation industries. The region is the headquarters of most outdoor industry companies and represents one of the planet’s most unique outdoor playgrounds. Outdoor Sports Valley is the official designation for both a regional and industry cluster dedicated to outdoor sports, centered in Annecy.
The objective of the Outdoor Sports Industry bachelor-level international programs is to train future professionals in applied techniques in the outdoor sports industry and equip them to be capable of working in an international environment. Students build their own sports industry network by working closely with the Outdoor Sports Valley Association and gain professional experience in this highly competitive and international industry, specifically through internships and professional trade shows such as ISPO and participating in projects conducted in partnership with outdoor sports companies.
