Study in France (in French) - ISEP Exchange
Students with an intermediate to advanced French level can design a full course load of university courses in French at the Faculty of Arts, Letters, Languages, and Social Sciences only.
HOUSING AND MEALS
ISEP students live in a university residence hall and receive a meal stipend.
SCHOLARSHIP
This program qualifies for the ISEP French and German Language Annette Kade Fund Scholarship. The scholarship awards $500 - $1,500 USD to students who are from a U.S. institution and studying French or German language in Austria, France, Germany, Reunion Island, or Switzerland. Learn more here!
Course Description
To support their linguistic and academic integration, a French as a Foreign Language (FLE) course is also available, worth 4 ECTS credits.
HOURS AND CREDITS PER COURSE
24, 30 or 36 hours per course per semester
From 6 to 10 hours = 1 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System)
NUMBER OF CREDITS
Minimum number: 24 ECTS per Semester
Maximum number: 30 ECTS per Semester
Students who have selected this program are only allowed to enroll in courses from the Faculty of Ars, Letters, Languages and Social Sciences. All other Faculties are off limits.

Other Academic Conditions
Crossover between programs at AMU is not permitted, but students are allowed to take courses from multiple departments at the Faculty of Arts, Letters, Languages, and Social Sciences.
Language Requirements
All students must provide a Language Proficiency Report for French.
A minimum of a B2 level of French language proficiency is required.
A C1 level of French language proficiency is required for students enrolled in the French as a Second Language (FSL) department.
PASSPORT: All students must have a valid passport to participate in this program. If you do not have a valid passport, we suggest you start the application process as soon as possible.
VISA/RESIDENCE PERMIT: Most students attending this program will be required to obtain a visa/residence permit. For more information on the process and estimated cost, please review the ISEP Country Handbook here.
