The E-Track Program enables students to cultivate a broad educational background and deepen their knowledge in their academic field. Tokyo International University offers a major in International Relations or Business Economics while providing a chance for students to explore Japanese culture, language, lifestyle and other elements of Japan.

Housing for ISEP E-Track students: Only Dormitory offered.
Students attending E-Track on Exchange during the Northern Hemisphere academic calendar, full year (August - June) will not receive housing benefits in between semesters. Students attending E-track on Exchange during TIU's academic year (February - December) are provided an on campus dormitory. Students on Direct need to pay an additional cost if they need housing over any vacation period.
Course Description
Tokyo International University offers a range of Liberal Arts, Business Economics, International Relations, Japanese language and Japan Studies courses. To view E-Track offerings, click the "website for course listings" link, then click on "elective courses," then find the "E-Track Program" link. Their "Academics" tab will show you all the concentrations and courses they have on offer.
The Japan Studies course will be taught in English while the Japanese Language course will be taught in Japanese.

Graduate Programs
Qualified graduate-level students can also take courses in TIU's Economics, International Relations, or Digital Business & Innovation Masters programs. Graduate students cannot register for Japanese language courses. However, with approval, graduate students in one major may register for a limited number of courses in other majors. Please see "Other Academic Conditions" below for further information on eligibility.

Other Academic Conditions
Undergraduate students must have the equivalent of a 2.5 GPA out of 4.0. (around a B- on a U.S. GPA scale or low C average). If you are unsure of how your transcript translates to a 4.0 GPA, please contact your home ISEP Coordinator or Student Services Officer for advice.
Graduate students must show a demonstrated academic background in their desired major at TIU. Transcripts submitted with your application will be reviewed thoroughly before your placement at TIU can be confirmed.
PASSPORT: All students must have a valid passport to participate in this program. If you do not have a valid passport, we suggest you start the application process as soon as possible.
VISA/RESIDENCE PERMIT: Most students attending this program will be required to obtain a visa/residence permit. For more information on the process and estimated cost, please review the ISEP Country Handbook here.
