Fort Lewis College is Colorado's crossroads of education and adventure. HOUSING

Housing is located on campus and is a 3-minute walk to the dining hall and student union building across the street. Housing is in double occupancy rooms with 2 students per room.

Apartments do not close during vacation periods. Students are free to come and go without checking in or out. 

MEALS

Students will receive “Dining Dollars” per term to be used at campus dining and grocery facilities. Students will receive an additional stipend the week prior to vacation period to be used to prepare meals or use at local restaurants. 

*Calendar Year students are not eligible for ISEP housing or meal benefits over the summer break.

Other Academic Conditions

Fort Lewis is willing to accept Duolingo English test (score of 85) or Pearson (PTE) (score of 44) as alternatives to other English assessments such as TOEFL and IELTS. 

Adventure education, athletic training, exercise K-12 teaching and exercise science sports administration all have competitive admission requirements. Courses in adventure education almost always fill before our ISEP students are able to enroll. Extreme flexibility in course selection is required for students looking for adventure education coursework specifically. 400-level teacher education courses are closed due to prerequisites and necessary admission into the Teacher Education Licensure program. Some courses may require additional fees beyond the standard exchange benefits (for field trips, labs, etc.), which participants would need to pay on their own. Audition is required for music applicants.

Course are not guaranteed, student will need some flexibility with their course selection. Syllabi may be available to prospective students upon request; please contact your ISEP Student Advisor. 

PASSPORT: All students must have a valid passport to participate in this program. If you do not have a valid passport, we suggest you start the application process as soon as possible.
