Fort Lewis College is Colorado's crossroads of education and adventure. Its blend of small classes, dynamic academic programs and a liberal arts perspective leads to transformative learning experiences that foster entrepreneurship, leadership, creative problem solving and life-long learning. Its unique and beautiful mountain campus, on a mesa above historic Durango, inspires an active and friendly community with a spirit of engagement, exploration and intellectual curiosity.

Strong fields include Native American and Indigenous Studies, adventure education and business. Many courses include opportunities to get off campus and explore this region as a living, learning laboratory. Fort Lewis College is proud to offer small class sizes and low student to teacher ratios.

Housing is located on campus and is a 3-minute walk to the dining hall and student union building across the street. Housing is in double occupancy rooms with 2 students per room.

Apartments do not close during vacation periods. Students are free to come and go without checking in or out.

Students will receive  “Dining Dollars” per term to be used at campus dining and grocery facilities. Students will receive an additional stipend the week prior to vacation period to be used to prepare meals or use at local restaurants.

*Calendar Year students are not eligible for ISEP housing or meal benefits over the summer break.
