As an ISEP student, you can build your own program by choosing your courses from a variety of fields across the University. We ask students to choose a ‘major’ area of study where they take at least half their classes, i.e. Business or Humanities & Social Science.  Our past study abroad students have taken classes right across the University with classes in journalism, Scottish history, engineering and business proving to be popular choices. We ask students to take 60 Scotcat credits per semester as a full-time load. This may be 3 or 4 classes per semester depending on which area you choose to study. 60 Scotcat points is equivalent to 15 US credits by most US universities. Use the course catalogue (see above) to select the classes you’d like to take.

For further information about each of our four faculties including the subjects we cover and current University research being done in these areas please see the see the links below:

- Engineering

- Science

- Humanities & Social Science

- Business School

ISEP students will be accommodated in university dormitories. Please note that students will need to indicate that they want housing in the internal application, and must accept their housing offer in a timely manner in order to secure their accommodation.

Meals are not included in the program fee. Students will be expected to budget for their meals accordingly, and can ask their ISEP Student Services Coordinator for tips, as well as check out ISEP's resources for Budgeting for Study Abroad.
